ACCOUNTING
441: AUDITING/ASSURANCE
Prerequisite: 60 hours, ACC 302, 350, and QMB 200 with grades of C or better
Philosophy: You should view this class as your job. You are a professional. You
always want to do your best and show your most professional side. Hints on some
actions that are not professional: interrupting/disrupting an important meeting
(class) by coming in late or leaving early (see above Attendance policy); asking/telling
the person conducting the important meeting that you won't be able to attend
(see above Attendance policy); and wearing hats or visors in class (see above
class policy).
Assignments: Homework, or parts of homework,
will be graded. The material on both
homework is included on assessments.
Also, anything from the text is fair game for the assessments.
Turn in: by EMAIL; do not
turn in on the Blackboard site. Use the
email account that you have in BB; those are the emails that I will open.
LABEL assignments: In the header/footer type: LastNameACC441AssignmentnameDate.
Also, this should be in the
subject line of the email.
KEEP: Copy of exactly what you turn in!
If you choose to not turn in
one or more assignments, you will receive an Incomplete for your grade
in the class. If, after the due date and
time, you choose to do the work, ten points per day from the date and time
the assignment was due will be deducted from your total points for the
semester. The minimum deduction is
10 points.
Assessments (exams/quizzes): NOTE the
final date and time. If you believe you have a conflict with the final notify
me in writing by T. 08.29.06.
Attach full documentation. If you
choose to not follow this policy, a minimum of 10% of the points of the
exam/final will be deducted. You will only need a calculator on the
sampling exam. You may use ONLY your own calculator on that exam.
